T1 weighted MRI(upper) and T2 weighted MRI(lower)
Radiologist comment:
In right posterior thorax, encapusulate pleural
fluid is
noticed, and there are fibrin exudates which
structure
shows high signal in T1 weighted in it.
Pleural capusel is highly enhanced by GD-DTPA,
and
considered to be active pleuritis.
Same as the finding of CT, adjacent to this
encapusulated
pleural fluid, homogeneously enhanced mass
is noted, and
considered to be round atelectasis because
bronchus
is involved in it.
